Thunder and Rain

I love the weather here- not the heat but the rain, thunder, and lightning.
Back where I use to live, you didn't really see "The real thing" I guess you could say.
The rain would come for about half of the day then leave, and it wouldn't come back for a long while. Here the rain is off and on. You'd think it's over, but half an hour later, its back and it acts like it's not leaving. I love it. I love rain.
The thunder back where I use to live was so-- "Aw! I didn't hear it..." But here, it's like "who didn't hear it!?". And the lightning, I hardly saw a thing of it back where I lived. And here, it lights up you're backyard as if it was day, yet it is really night.
And what I love the most-- is when you're outside, and you really quick hear this loud thunder, then you hear the sound of rain dropping down on the leaves in the wood coming closer and closer, louder and louder. Big rain drops fall on the deck. And just a few seconds before- it was dry like summer, now it's soaked like it's been raining forever. It gives you this great felling of excitement.
And it gives you so much imagination. Reading books, back where I use to live, it was pretty cool with the effect of imagination, you wouldn't think it gets any better, but then when you move and see the real thing, the real thunder told in the story, and you imagine it all-- it's just so-- "Wow." in shock.
Not to long ago, I was standing out side, on the porch, watching the rain and the flashes of light, and listening to the thunder rolling. You just couldn't be driven away from the beautiful of nature.
I love it here. It's so-- neat and interesting.

(Ps. If you are reading, "Hi grandma! I miss you.")

Thunderstorms are great. I like it when theres a huge storm, not when it just drizzles for hours upon end. Huge storms are great.
